On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Biology of Eukaryotes and Sorbonne University are joining forces with UN Women’s “Orange Day” on 22 to November 29, 2023.
For what ?
To raise awareness of all violence against women in higher education and research but also in society (gender-based and sexual violence, domestic violence, etc.).
What does this consist of? Concretely, you can for example:
- Wear an orange t-shirt
- Inform and raise awareness in your work and/or study environment about why you are dressed in orange, using the tools distributed by the Equality mission (violentometers, posters, guide, flyer, key figures, resources, how to be an active witness, etc.)
- Post and/or relay this awareness on social networks.
- Participate and talk about Gender Month events around you
